Hi! I’m Rachel Mendelson [she/her]. I’m a digital designer with two decades of experience, and the owner of Luxe Letters.

I specialize in typography and I’m passionate about blending text and visuals to create captivating and beautiful pieces of art.

My keen eye for detail and love for typography shine through in my work, whether it's a single-page flyer or a hefty textbook. I draw inspiration from my travels, keeping my designs fresh and timeless. I’ve had the pleasure of working on a wide variety of projects all across the globe.

I got my start in design working for a small publishing company in Israel in 2005, with an emphasis on book design. This company merged with Koren Publishers in 2007, one of the largest publishing houses in Israel. While there I worked on a variety of projects which including novels, Bibles, encyclopedias, cookbooks, phone books, and more.

In 2011 I started working with other clients in the US, Europe and Australia. The projects encompassed workbooks for universities, children’s books, Google slide decks, branding and website materials, print newspapers, etc. 

Beginning 2013, I started Luxe Letters that reflects my vision of creating high quality branding and fine typography. My clients are world-wide and the projects are personalized and adaptable to each one. I moved to Los Angeles, California, and there I got to work with post-production companies, fitness studios and many others.

I also collaborate with artists and other designers to bring text and art together, resulting in a wide-range of projects. While most of my work is in English, I’ve been lucky to work with many European languages as well and learned each and every one’s guidelines.

I work with each client closely to bring their vision to life. We work together to ensure that each project reflects the client and brings out the light of the work to the surface.

Today, I reside in Denver, Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains with my partner and our furry Australian Shepherd.
